Day 26: San Simeon to Santa Barbara to Los Angeles

Today we drove to Santa Barbara and had lunch with Jason's brother, Jeff. Jeff showed us around town a bit. The palm trees and terra cotta roofs are stunning. We'll be back Sunday and Monday to explore further.

After lunch we attempted to book it to Los Angeles but, inevitably, were stuck in traffic for hours. We're unwinding at Becca's now, heading over to Corelyn's in Hollywood in a few minutes to make dinner tonight.

    Okay, fabulous pictures. Thank you thank you thank you. Katie--what did I tell you about Santa Barbara? Love those tile roofs and the water and the sunlight shining down. Sounds like sunlight has been elusive....you will have plenty as you drive toward the south and across to Texas...hot hot hot. :)
